Jade and amethyst bracelet

Graduated Jade discs are the centerpiece of this bracelet, and are accentuated by beads of jade and amethyst. Length is 25 cm.

Jade is a durable, precious stone comprised of two distinct minerals, nephrite and jadeite.  It is valued for jewelry, making and carvings due to its toughness and range of colors. Jade can be found, ranging from yellow to red to green, with varying shades and patterns. 

Amethyst is a purple variety of quartz. It forms in geodes in volcanic rock. Prized for its lovely purple coloration, and inclusions are usually preferred for its striking color variation.
